These terms govern the use of MyDailyAlerts. By creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
MyDailyAlerts sends WhatsApp messages before the events in your Google Calendar and the alerts you create in the panel, plus a daily summary and, on the Max plan, nagging reminders. Access to Google Calendar is read only.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- An account belongs to one person, with true information and a WhatsApp number that is yours.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account.
3. Plans, trial and payment
- There are three plans: Free, Starter and Max. Each one's limits and price are on the pricing page.
- Every new account starts with 7 days of Max for free, with no card. When the trial ends, the account moves to Free unless you subscribe.
- Paid plans are monthly, charged through Stripe and renewed automatically. The currency follows the account's language at the first subscription: Brazilian reais in Portuguese, US dollars in English.
- You can cancel any time from the panel. Your plan runs to the end of the period already paid and does not renew.
- If a payment fails, the account works as Free while Stripe retries, and returns to the paid plan once the payment goes through.
- When you move to a smaller plan, alerts over the new limit are paused, never deleted, and come back when you upgrade.
- Price changes are announced before they apply and only take effect from the next renewal.
Right of withdrawal: if you are a consumer in Brazil, you may withdraw from your first subscription within 7 days and get the amount paid back, as art. 49 of the Consumer Defense Code provides. Outside that case, partial periods are not refunded unless the law requires it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to send spam or messages to numbers that are not yours;
- store illegal or offensive content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
- try to get around plan limits, create accounts in bulk or overload the service;
- copy, reverse engineer or access the service through unauthorised automated means.
Breaking these rules may lead to the account being suspended or closed.
5. Message delivery
We do our best for every alert to arrive on time, but delivery depends on WhatsApp, your connection, your device and, for calendar events, Google. So we do not guarantee that every message will be delivered, or delivered at the exact time.
MyDailyAlerts is not an emergency service. Do not rely on it as the only way to remember something critical to health or safety, such as unsupervised medication.
6. Your content and your data
What you store remains yours. You only give us the permission needed to store, process and send that content to you, solely to provide the service. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The MyDailyAlerts brand, website, panel and software are ours. These terms grant no rights over them beyond using the service.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in My account, and all of your data is deleted. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, giving the reason where possible. If we shut down the service as a whole, we will give notice in advance and refund the unused part of paid periods.
9. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by an alert that did not arrive or arrived late. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer protection law gives you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Relevant changes are announced by email in advance; if you keep using the service after they apply, you agree to the new version.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Consumers may bring claims in the courts of their own domicile. Questions: [email protected].
